Getting Here


The County South Event Space is located on Lancaster University's main campus at Bailrigg.

Located just South of the city, it is close to junction 33 of the M6 motorway, or a short bus ride from Lancaster Railway Station.

By Air

The closest airport is Manchester, an hourly rail link runs directly between the airport and Lancaster, taking just over an hour.

Birmingham International Airport is approximately 2.5 hours away and London Heathrow Airport 3.5 hours.

By Road

Car Parking is available on the Bailrigg Campus. Visitors are required to pay for parking at an on-site, card-only payment machine or using RingGo UK app.


Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 33 and take the A6 north towards Lancaster.

By Train

Lancaster train station is a 5 minute walk from the city centre.

There are direct rail links between Lancaster and many of the UK's major cities and airports. Please visit National Rail for timetable information and to purchase tickets.

The 4 and 4X bus service operates between Lancaster train station and Lancaster University every 30 minutes Monday to Friday.

Taxi's are also available.


By Bus

The Bailrigg Campus is a short bus ride from the city centre. Services 100, 4, 4X, 40, 41 and 42 leave Lancaster bus station every 10 minutes between 7am-7pm, and then until midnight at a lesser frequency.

The university has a number of simple, en-suite rooms available a 2 minute walk from the conference venue.


Lancaster House Hotel is a classic English country hotel, a 10 minute walk from the conference venue close on the edge of the university campus.
